It is our belief that when students meet regularly in small groups ( less than 12 ) they have the best opportunity to grow in their relationship with Jesus and participate in Christian fellowship.
While participating in a small group, students will be taught the Bible and biblical topics in a way that helps them understand and begin applying God’s truth to their lives.
The small group environment allows students a safe place to open up, bring their questions and find encouragement as they work through life with their friends and adult leaders. We encourage all students to be connected with at least one small discipleship group.
At College First Church there are several opportunities for youth to get involved in smaller discipleship groups. Scroll through the options to the right and get plugged in!!

Sunday evening youth is a time for more learning with lessons focused on “real life” situations, such as temptation, fear, and self image, all with a Biblical base. Dinner is also provided on Sunday evenings.
Bible QuizzingStudents interested in a better understanding of scripture and a little friendly competition may wish to join the CFC Bible quizzing team. Quizzers meet every Sunday from 4:00-5:30pm and prepare together to compete against other churches within the Churches of God General Conference. Times of Spiritual discussions and social activities are also planned. Contact quizzing coach Nancy Hiser for more details at email@example.com Here is a link to our Bible Quiz scrimmage Saturday, Jan. 5th, 2013. Click Here. Link to our Blog by clicking here “The Junior Phoenixes” ! Our goal is to continue using well-known and well-loved literature as a tool to introduce Biblical concepts and views to those who are part of the group. The hope is that, while kids come because they love the worlds created by great minds like JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, JK Rowling, and so many more, they continue showing up week after week for the friends, lessons, and applications they learn. This Reading Group is geared toward Middle School and High School ages.
